UpAudio.com is the first of many creative projects to stem from MyIndieMusic Inc. Development of the site began in April of 2005, followed by beta testing in early 2006. We are eagerly looking forward to a full launch.

UpAudio is the newest way for independent artists and labels to sell music.

We are dedicated to building not only the largest, but the most diverse community of musicians and fans on the planet. How do we plan to do it? UpAudio accepts all artist submissions. We don't decide what's right for music fans to listen to. We just provide them with a way to find it.

UpAudio.com was created based on the belief that music belongs to the artists and their fans. The major record companies have a formula for profits and strictly enforce bottom line thinking – they very rarely take a risk on marketing unique music. In the past most independent artists would set their sights on “getting signed” and if it didn’t happen they would call it quits or settle for the “starving artist lifestyle” – until now.

Our intention is to make the selling part easy. Independent artists and labels can be successful without the need for a huge budget. At UpAudio.com there are no duplication, packaging, or distribution costs; leaving the majority of revenue from the sales of downloads as profits for the artists.

We believe that music should only be bound by the limits of imagination. UpAudio.com is the place to explore those limits by providing artists with the freedom of financial independence.
